Big Sky Paragliding has been introducing people to the wonder of soaring flight since 1990. We specialize in personalized instruction, tandems and tours. Our objective is to maintain the highest standards in safety while emphasizing enjoyment.   

ABOUT BIG SKY PARAGLIDING: Big Sky Paragliding was first created in 1990 in Montana by Dale Covington, and then moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1998.
We hold introductory lessons at the Point of the Mountain, one of the best training sites in the country, with consistent flying conditions year round.
We also conduct advanced clinics worldwide. (see tours).
We pride ourselves on not being the biggest school, but on being the best. We give personal, closely supervised instruction. While other instructors might have 6 or more students a day, you will probably receive one to one training.The United States Hang Gliding Association (USHGA) administers our sport and Big Sky Paragliding uses only USHGA approved instructors. Our instruction surpasses the training requirements under the USHGA guidelines. Our instructional program is designed to develop the highest level of pilot proficiency from beginners thru advanced training.

TOURS: Our Tours include trips to Nepal, India, Mexico, Brazil, Europe and the Dominican Republic.

EQUIPMENT: We sell and service the best paragliding equipment, including new and used gliders, harnesses, instruments, reserves and accessories.
